MERIDIAN Transport and Logistics has engaged to import and organized transport as well as final delivering of military technical support (12 vehicles), donated by Government of USA (FMS Programme) on relation port Rijeka, Croatia-Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Second International Conference of Logistic 2016 under name „Logistic services and solutions“ was held in Banja Luka at Juni 10, 2016. Organisator was Banja Luka College. Participants were coming from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, they were domestic and international experts in domain of logistic, freight forwarding, transport and product distribution.Conference was devoted to problems, possibilities, directions and solutions of logistic development in region. As a part of active interaction bewteen participants, representatives of „Meridian“ ,transport and logistics, Mr Srdjan Jevtic and Mr Ognjen Stokic delivered presentation about good regional praxis in groupage transport. They hihglited on possibilities, chances and developments of Company in Balkan region. Organisator has hoped that next Confernece will erase more attention in whole region (Croatia, Slovenia, Montenegro) as well as representatives of Government and local authorithies connected with this branch.

Business Conference “TILL 2016” today is taking place in “Sava Center” with significant number of participants from freight forwarding, logistics, road, train, air and water transport’s sector. Apart of companies, participation on Conference is taking by high representatives of relevant state institutions as well as business associations form SEE and Danube Region. Representatives of Meridian Banja Luka also are taking place in work of Conference.

District Commercial Court Banja Luka has brought decision at July 17, 2015 about new official name of Company. On English language it is: MERIDIAN transport and logistics or local language: MERIDIAN Akcionarsko društvo za transport i logistiku.

The Assembly of shareholders No.18 was held in business premises of Company at May 26, 2015. They voted and adopted the next reports that refer on 2014: Business report, Financial report, Independent Auditor's Report as well as about new suggested members of Management Board and Audit Commitee.

Representatives of Humanitarian organization ADRA Slovenia visited Meridian Banja Luka at 2nd April 2015, to express their thanks on free of charge Meridian's support in import process for humanitarian goods, during last May’s floods. Mr. Vladimir Abram and Mr. Vladimir Sunjevaric delivered a thank you letter to Mr. Sobot Andjelko, the General Manager of Meridian. Humanitarian organization ADRA Slovenia ( www.adra.si) has delivered 180 tones of necessary goods and supplies like food, water, medicine, shoes, clothes, baby supplies for Balkan region (Croatia and BiH). The most of humanitarian aid went to Bijeljina, Brcko, Samac, Prijedor and Banja Luka. In cooperation with ADRA’s branch office in BiH, they have started to implement project “Building of 30 houses” in Zepce. Their support activities and efforts still continue also in flooded Semberija’s area.

2nd Business Conference “TILL 2015” took place in Sava Center (Belgrade, Serbia) with more than 400 participants from freight forwarding, logistics, road, train, air and water transport’s sector. Apart of companies, participation on Conference were taking high representatives of relevant state institutions as well as business associations form SEE and Danube Region, EU, Turkey, Russia and PR China. Representatives of Meridian Banja Luka also took place in work of Conference.

According to TÜV Austria CERT procedures, Meridian Joint Stock Company Banja Luka is certified for ISO 14001:2004 management system for life environment protection in domain of international forwarding, warehousing, groupage transport and transport organization.

Meridian Joint Stock Company officially received the Confirmation letter, dated 28th November 2014, signed by Mrs. Kelly Bunyan, The World Freight Network (WFN) Managing Director that Meridian has became a member of WFN (UK) as one and only representative Logistic Company from Bosnia and Herzegovina. The WFN is an international association of 270+ independent forwarders in more than 125+ countries. For more details please see at www.worldfreightnetwork.com. Meridian Joint Stock Company has passed strict entry procedures and has been awarded WFN membership as a stabile and financially strong leading company in sector. Also, members have to satisfy all demands and queries that coming through network from all over the world. Annual meetings with more than 150 delegates held on regular basis and it will take place in Bejing, China from 19-21 April 2015. Invitation is also delivered to Mr. Andjelko Sobot, General Manager of Meridian Joint Stock Company Banja Luka.

After regular, monthly meeting in Headquarter Office Banja Luka with all Branch Office Managers of Company, it was arranged a celebration for special occasion e.g. we are proudly presenting our six employees that have succeed 10, 20 or 30 years of their work in Meridian Joint Stock Company. The Assembly of shareholders No.17, as an extraordinary session of Company, was held in business premises of Company. Shareholders were adopted "Business Policy for 2015" as well as new member of Management Board of Company, Mr. Zdravko Zecevic.

Assembly of shareholders No.XVI will take place at April 8th 2014 in premises of Headquarter of Company, Street Veselina Maslese No.21/II at 12.00 hours.
In case of unaccomplished quorum of shareholders on the Assembly, meeting will be postponed by one hour e.g. 13.00 hours on the same place and with same suggested Agenda.
Rights to be present as well as voting rights are consistent with the Central Registry of Securities a.d Banja Luka report that represents share symbol, owners’ data, number and nominal value of shares, according to last ten days status, before taking of this Assembly of Shareholders e.g. March 29th 2014.

Project activities “Assembly of agricultural machinery and equipment (tractors, motocultivators and auxiliary equipment)” under ISED Project UNDP BiH Sarajevo was successfully finished. It is donation made by the Government of the PRC to people of the Republic of BiH.
Apart of agricultural equipment, donation was consisting of dental equipment that has already delivered to medical institution trough all over the country at the beginning of this year.
The Ministry for human rights and refuges BiH will announce public invitation to identify final users of this agricultural donation after when Meridian Joint Stock Company will deliver it to final user by own logistics. In total, 180 tractors and 70 motocultivators with auxiliary equipments of “YTO” the Chinese producer will be disseminated at BiH. We have to mention that in cooperation with Chinese group of experts as a technical part of donation, Meridian Joint Stock Company’s staff from business unit Sarajevo as well as “Ilex” Ltd Rogatica’s staff completed successfully project activities, much earlier than predicted to Contract with UNDP BiH as a purchaser.

New Business Unit of Meridian Joint Stock Company is opened at March 20th 2012.
Officialy name is Meridian a.d. Banja Luka, Business Unit Donja Gradina and its core activities will be customs clearance to clients.
We open this business unit with main aim to strengthening market position of Company in domain of forwarding services on BH region as well as logistic system development necessary for intensive growth and development of Meridian Joint Stock Company to modern organized logistic Company, with regional character.

We proudly present you new Business Unit of Meridian Joint Stock Company Banja Luka, officially opened at November 11th 2010 in Bihac - Border Crossing on Izacic. Officially name of business unit will be Meridian a.d. Banja Luka - Business Unit Bihac - BC Izacic.
Apart of customs clearance services, this business unit of Meridian will offer other logistic services such are:
transport organization, transport, gruopage transport, warehousing at customs/commercial warehouses at business premises in Bihac. Meridian Joint Stock Company Banja Luka through spreading of own logistic systems is in position to offer more available and more efficiently services to current, new and potential clients.
As a one of the leaders in logistic branch in BH, Meridian was opening for last two years three business units and has established own logistic centers in Banja Luka, Bijeljina and Sarajevo.
Long-term development concept of Company is based on own logistic centers building and its connection by permanent transport goods lines, with aim to becomes regional logistic Company.
